I am expected to produce “a record of high quality publications… and a record of high productivity” (RTP Standards 2 & 3, 2021, p. 5), and to demonstrate “a record of leadership and/or independence in publications” (RTP Standard 4, 2021, p. 6).

I have published over 52 manuscripts and presented my work more than 141 times, 44% of which were invited presentations and keynotes at international, national, and state conferences. Since post-tenure (2013 – present), I have published 16 peer-reviewed journal articles, 7 peer-reviewed book chapters, and 2 technical reports and policy papers. Of these, 15 publications are co-authored with doctoral students and early career scholars of color. I co-edited and introduced the recruitment section in the Handbook of Research on Teachers of Color and Indigenous Teachers (AERA, 2022) and founded the SEHD Educator Diversity Research Team which contributed to developing our current partnership with the National Center for Research on Educator Diversity (NCRED).

The next section provides a summary of my scholarly writing. The refereed journal table provides information about the journal, impact factor, rank in field, and the acceptance rates of the articles I have published in refereed journals. Following this table, an annotated list of my articles is provided which includes information about the topic and my role/contribution.
